30 Days- Day 7; Someone with the biggest impact on your life.

This is me... still playing catch up. Day 7- A Picture of someone/something that has had the biggest impact on your life. My mum. She's literally my best friend. I can go to her for anything and everything, and honestly I have. She's played the "mom card" in times that it's been needed. But in truth she's always been my best friend. She's been there always since day 1, it ... Read the Post

30 Days- Day 4; A Bad Habit

Still catching up... Give it a few days. :| LOLDay 4- A Habit you wish you didn't have.Oh wow this list could go on, but ONE habit?Let me think... oh wait that's it! I am an over thinker, like BAD. Most of the time I can't just make a simple easy decision. Anything that requires a decision is deep pondering, thinking all outcomes that the decision could bring. Most things ... Read the Post

30 Days- Day 3; A Picture of Your Animals

I am a bit behind on this little challenge but this is me, catching up. OOPS. Day 3 is about a picture of your animals.I have one dog, his name is Baloo, he's 10 years old. His birthday is November 17th and will be 11 this year. He is a Newfoundland, Black Lab mix, we rescued him from getting euthanized at only 4.5 months old. He is originally from South Carolina, and they shipped him from SC ... Read the Post

30 Days- Day 2; What’s in a name?

Day 2- The meaning behind your blog name. This is easy for me to talk about. In 2013, I started my weight loss journey (for the first of many times), after losing 60 lbs I wanted to start writing about it. So I saw what my friends were doing and they were writing on blogger, seemed easy enough. I know many girls who design for blogs so it was easy enough to make it pretty and get the lay of the ... Can’t stop, won’t stop! A fun birthday celebra Can’t stop, won’t stop! A fun birthday celebration in NYC due to April rain showers—it was more like April torrential downpour— but you get the idea 😉. ⁣
⁣
The last weekend of April @liveliketheflash and I celebrated his birthday in Brooklyn & Manhattan. Starting our Saturday off right, we headed into Brooklyn and had a few drinks at @otherhalfnyc. Then we headed to @threesbrewinggowanus for some more drinks and delicious burger! Staying in Gowanus, we went two blocks away to @finbackbrooklyn , for, you guessed it, more beers and some scrumptious wontons!⁣
⁣
We figured after being a little waterlogged, we made the short trek to the @walkerhotels in Greenwich Village. One of the reasons we picked the Greenwich Village was the location, with its prime location you’re a short drive from Brooklyn, which we took advanage of. You’ve also have the pleathera of neighborhoods to walk around, SoHo, Chelsea, Washington Square Park and more! Plus around the corner you’ve got the 14th Street subway, to take a quick trip anywhere. ⁣
⁣
When we arrived at @WalkerHotels we headed downstairs to check in, and take in the beautiful lobby that is partially underground! We loved our gorgeous art-deco era 1930’s room, with a cozy bed and beautiful bathroom. Our Sunday breakfast was absolutely delicious, from the market to table American restaurant named The Society Cafe. Even though it’s “underground” there was a huge skylight that was allowing sun through and lighting up the restaurant. We sipped fancy coffee and chowed on pancakes, eggs, bacon, and a yummy chocolate crossaint. ⁣
⁣
I honestly can’t wait to go back, between the location, amazing hospitality and food you’ll have everything you need when you stay here. ⁣
