When I first started my fitness journey I knew I needed a notebook of some type , going to the gym with the workout on my phone was getting annoying. It was in pictures but of course I always take a million pictures so it being the last picture was just not possible.
Insert the most amazing little notebook ever, its called Journal Menu. The notebooks they have for workouts aren’t just for weight lifting, they have running, Cross Fit & combo running/weight lifting if you do both.
My favorite parts are the customization parts to the journal, the inside can no lines, 3 workouts per page or 2 workouts per page and lined which is what I have. They also have a wide variety of covers that you can personalize to your taste, and have your name added!
The journal I chose is perfect for my needs, I have large handwriting and without lines my writing can go sideways which is never pretty. I have 2 workouts each page, I added 50 more workout pages because I know ill use this book to log each workout. With the space given I have room to write down each move I have to perform, sets, & amount of weight I have to use. I can also write down cardio for the day, whether it’s a DVD or running. The book itself is small enough to throw in my gym bag & to carry around the gym, I stick it on the floor with my phone & shaker bottle. Its easy enough to glance down at the book to see how many more sets I have to perform and if I am super setting I know exactly what to grab to perform next.

I think my favs are the “America’s Thin Blue Line” with the KB on the front or the “Runners Shoe Prints” design :).
