Day 13 of October Daily-
Day 13 Question; Comment on this: If you cannot find a way out, look up.
There’s always an upside to a horrible situation in life. Even though it’s not always an immediate realization for the upside of the situation.
The first part of the statement ‘If you cannot find a way out’ in most situations everyone only sees the down part of it. In some situations the down part is so HUGE that most people can’t see the way out or the ‘good’ that could come from the situation.
5 years ago I had left my job because it just became too conflicting with my County Job which I loved and higher paying. Well when the County had to let me go only for a couple of months I needed to find a job ASAP. I started to panic in truth I was freaking out! I didn’t have a job, my savings was very low, and it was November, Christmas was coming up. Well being at home I tried to keep busy do things at home, clean, cook and etc. Well one day my mom found this office job, in the town we live in, for $10 an hour, 3 days a week 5 hours each day. It was perfect! I went for the interview on Friday afternoon spent the whole weekend worrying, and than Monday afternoon around 4:30 I got a call that I got the job!!!!!! It had taken almost 3 weeks for me to get the job that I still currently have only it’s full time; so that situation I learned how to appreciate how blessed I was to find a job in that short time.
‘Look up’ to me that part of the statement means, to look for another direction. It also can mean to look up, to God that he’s got your life planned out, the bumps, the bruises, the ups, the downs, the cries, the laughs, and everything in between. I used to never look up, I used to look down, pound on the closed doors, using the wrong key for the right locked door.
We have to Look Up, even if you aren’t religious, there’s always a reason to look up, or to look for the good in life.
This is probably my favorite quote of all time since I started dating Anthony;
