Day 8 Question; Share a blogging/photography tip or tutorial.
So I don’t know much about blogging OR photography to do a tutorial on either. But I will do a tutorial on how to make a running Tutu!
I know there are many tutu tutorials, sewing, no sew, videos and etc. But this is the quick I need it in TWO days tutorial LOL.
Even though I do consider my self crafty and creative it doesn’t necessarily mean I have any kind of patience for crafty activities.
-Sewing needle OR machine
is lined up and straight. Pin down one side of the tulle to the cardboard or
cutting board.
doesn’t move.
the end cut off the excess tulle and then start to cut the tulle into 4”
strips.
straight as possible. If you are using a cutting board follow as closely to the
lines as possible.
start the tutu.
have enough room to loop tulle around.
leave as is) lay the tulle OVER elastic and then while going UNDER elastic take
both ends and pull through the loop.
pulling the ends through DO NOT pull tightly, it’ll spin the elastic around.
tulle you have left to put on by measuring around your waist. If you are using
this as a RUNNING tutu don’t make it too tight. If it’s a child’s tutu or for
fun measure it so it’s snug a little bit.
need it to be.
together the ends. Most likely you’ll have to add more tulle after you sew
together the ends.
Have someone (or if you are nifty enough) pin
the 2 sides together
though I am horrible at explaining things and this probably isn’t the best tutorial
out there I hope I helped someone
