Anyone else need this year to SLOW down?! No? Just me, okay. Well this wraps up another week. It was an awesome week, felt extremely comfortable blogging about what I did and all that jazz. I started a DSLR + Photoshop class with ABM, it’s all online, and I go through the course at my speed and when I’m ready. It’s nice it’s just ALL there in steps, with some homework to do. I’ve had my Canon T3i for… years, and just finally learning how to shoot 100% in manual, so learning the finer techniques is crucial. Plus, learning something new is fun! We are going to Europe on our honeymoon and essentially this is the camera I’ll be taking, it’s not heavy so I definitely want to learn how to use it properly.
I also signed up for the Nectar Collective’s online blogging called the Blog Hive. I really want to turn my blog into a business, maybe go full time eventually.
Anyways, this weekend my mum and I are going to a Trans Siberian Orchestra concert. it’s our 4th year, and even though we have to travel to NJ for it I’m excited. Originally we weren’t going to go because no days were really ideal, until I found 12/12 at 3pm! I am extremely excited about going, it’s a new show this year, new music and it’s going to be awesome! I got us AMAZING seats, my mum likes to have room, so we are Row 1, Seat 1&2, ON the floor in the second section. Which is basically ideal, that’s the area we were during our first show, and we had the best seats, we also had the lead guitarist Chris (who’s from Long Island!) run past us!
Holiday Run Streak is going strong, most days LOL, other days it’s a struggle to get to just ONE mile. Today (12/11) is day 16, I never thought I’d get to day 16 of this, cause I’m not really a “running” fan. But I want to look great for my wedding day, in my wedding dress, so I need to do this. My plan is to get up to 2 miles, or CLOSE to it, as the month goes on. CA and I are doing a 5K Winter Run Series that starts January 10th, it’s 3.1 miles so I NEED to get close to that, so during the race my mind doesn’t mess with me and I can finish and be happy with my times. This will be good, it’s SLOW, and I am not getting discouraged with not being able to do this or that.
I’m SO not prepared for Christmas…. like it just can’t come. LOL I am excited because it’s family time, and it’s our 4th Christmas together. But my excitement ends there. No real reason just, meh.
Anyone else feeling this way?
I hope everyone had a great week and has a GREAT weekend!
Before you go check out this amazing product I was able to try out! It’s honey, without the sticky mess! It’s Christmas time, so in my house that means 2 things: 1. BAKING and lots of it! 2. Colds, sickness and all that yucky crap. Since we haven’t started baking yet I tried it out in my tea! I started drinking tea to help me combat sickness, or any time I want to get my body warm.
I always get one cold during the winter, so having this honey to make my tea just taste a little bit sweeter is great. Do you use honey in your tea or baking? Than enter my giveaway below! I’m giving away Nektar Honey Crystals! Nektar Honey Crystals are all-natural granulated honey in easy-to-carry packets. It’s the goodness of traditional honey with no sticky mess.
Nektar Honey Crystals are:

- Non-GMO
- Naturally gluten-free
