This week I am recharging my “gettin’ fit” batteries, and getting my butt in gear to become fit like I want. I am going to be doing my half marathon training and weight lifting combined, working out six days a week. I will find the love to workout again, I lost it after coming back from vacation.
Friday:
Like I said above Friday night was a surprise 30th birthday party. Our friend Brian turned 30 on Thursday, and his girlfriend threw this for him! CA & I went for happy hour just because it was super close, so we had some drinks, and anxiously awaited his arrival! The bottom picture is Brian (far right), and his two friends dancing to the Cha-Cha-Slide, let me tell you it was HILARIOUS.
After the party we headed to another bar to watch CA’s old co workers perform in the band they have. It was cute, they played some great songs and just relaxed.
Saturday:
CA & I woke up semi late on Saturday, slow moving, and just not doing much. I made a late breakfast for us, and we got moving after that. We went to a dedication ceremony for our friend Anthony who passed away February of last year. He had a heart of gold, was the sweetest guy you could meet, and had served in the Army.
After the dedication, we went to the party and on our way there, I was jotting down some stuff for my guest blog posts I’ll have to complete and get to the blogger by Thursday. I always feel weird talking about myself so I have to get it all OUT first and than make sense of it. At the party I was DD and I grabbed a Coke and it had Soulmate on it, I showed CA and he thought it was cute. So obviously I needed to snap a picture of it.
Sunday:
Sunday was Agata’s surprise Bridal Shower, it was at a close bar/grille and it was a great time! We played a game with toliet paper, we had rolls of toliet paper and had to make a wedding dress out of it! Super hard, but Jess (she was in our group and is also a friend) went on pinterest and found something we could work with! We didn’t win, but we were SO proud of our little creation….. we also only had 6 minutes to complete. The cupcake dress was made by one of the bridesmaids Christina, and Karolina (the toilet paper wedding dress) made the sash and hat from ALL the bows everyone made sure to put on her presents!
After the party I headed to CA’s to relax, we watched 300 Rise of an Empire (awesome movie btw), and just relaxed for the night.
I hope you all had a great weekend! ♥
Busy but fun weekend!

Looks like a fun weekend! I'm getting back on the workout routine too and finding my love for it again! Did you do T25? I just ordered it and wondered how you liked it if you did it 🙂
The title of this post sounds like it could be a movie haha
