It’s Monday again, but this week is exactly like last week- a nice 4 day week! I have off today, so I’m relaxing and just blogging away. I woke up a little later than usual, around 8, so I got a late start to the day but I got what I wanted done. My weekend was great as per the usual and I am very excited for the next coming weekends to be just as great.
Friday-
Oh Friday…. It started out good, but it didn’t stay that way. CA and I had a Red Bulls game to attend at 7 pm in Harrison NJ. We left my house around 4:45, and arrived in NJ at…. 7:35. YES it took us THREE hours…. THREE HOURS to get to NJ. CA and I both weren’t happy with it, CA much more because of he was the one driving, we missed 97% of the first half of the game. We actually got to see 4 minutes, and we heard the tying goal being scored, from outside the arena. We settled into our seats, relaxed during the half time, and got ready for the second half.
I brought along my DSLR camera, it’s an EOS 60D camera, with my 75-300mm lens. I got some amazing pictures, and I can’t wait to put up a whole new post about them. I did realize that I am not meant to be with the “normal” population of the fans, I’m LOUD and have to stop myself from cursing. Luckily the couple behind us found me amusing while yelling at the referee’s for not making some necessary calls. I told CA that we just need to sit in the supporter section, even if I bring my camera we can sit up higher, and I’ll still be able to fit in.
That is where CA and I usually sit, they’re called Garden State Ultras.
After the game ended we left the parking lot, headed to Smash Burger and ate a very late dinner. Luckily it took us 1 hour 30 mins to get back home so we didn’t want to kill anyone on the road. I also was able to get some pictures of the beautiful skyline of NYC on 9/11. The Empire State Building, 1 WTC, and the beams of light coming from where the Twin Towers once stood.
Saturday-
Early in the morning, CA and I took apart and put back together a TV stand my mum gave to me. I actually love it, it’s a nice replacement for the one that’s a bit TOO small for me and CA to use. CA headed off to get ready for his soccer game that he had to referee. It ended around 3ish, and we ended up going to a birthday party, for CA’s friends. We missed going to a party for our friends that live in Philly, he had to work so we weren’t able to make it there. We stayed at the friends house until we got too exhausted and started talking that it felt like it was 2 or 3 am not just 9 pm.
Baloo always sits by CA when he has a dessert LOL.
Sunday-
FOOTBALL SUNDAYYYYYYYY.
I made us breakfast in the morning, and we just relaxed around the house. CA went to the bar to meet his friends that he is in a Fantasy Football league with. I stayed home, and did nothing. Well I cleaned out the laptop I am currently typing on to make it faster, and I added my pictures from my camera so I can properly edit and delete all the ones that are too blurry to save.
In the afternoon I got ready to just make sure I was ready for CA to come over and watch the Giants V Cowboys game. We passed out after the half time occurred, we had very long weekend.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week!
