SO, I’ve been MIA, also went on a cruise with CA, and just basically fell off the wagon for a while. Anyways, a good friend Tori started a weight loss challenge, she’s a coach, and her plans focus on lifting heavy, and she’s becoming a power lifter. So that began April 6th, I am currently on week 3 of it, and so far I love it, I’ve been getting stronger with each week and I also find myself more sore than ever before. Being sore isn’t the “main” goal but with most workouts it was rare that I was sore, and I feel like THIS plan actually works.
I’ve been slacking still on the cardio end of the workouts except for Wednesday when it’s cardio only. But today I started to do T25 {a beachbody program} after I get home from the gym. I go at 5am, home by 6:15, and I workout for an additional 25 mins, and still can get ready for work by 7am. So my new cardio plan is do run 3 days a week {Wed, Sat & Sun}, T25 5 days a week {Mon-Fri}, Lifting {M,T,Th,F}.
PR’s from the past month {Personal Records} for lifting–
these PR’s aren’t a 1RM {rep max}, but they are a PR for the amount of sets/reps I have to complete
{the # is in place of lbs… it’s a weight lifting thing LOL}
Squats- 185# 135# upped by 50#
Deadlifts- 185# 135# upped by 50#
Leg Press- 400# 180# upped by 220# {one morning I was bored & packed on the weights}
Hip Thrusts- 185# 150# upped by 35#
Bench Press- 90# {these SUCK} I don’t want to discuss this
Shoulder Press- 55# 50# {these also SUCK} Yea….. these still suck
SO the weigh in part.
Starting weight : this weight number went UP
Weight loss: Starting from scratch.
Current weight: 243#
I have been on and off the fitness train so much already this year! So frustrated with myself. Kudos to you for getting an awesome plan together. Hoping you will inspire me!
I love Beachbody products and find that when I am in or running a challenge group that I am more successful. Wishing you the best of luck with T25!
