Friday Night-
CA, myself, my mum and 2 aunts went to a Zac Brown Tribute Band concert, in town. It was the perfect nigh really, it wasn’t hot at all and we had a nice breeze to enjoy the great concert. we brought sandwiches we made from home, various snacks & drinks. We arrived early enough to get good seats, we sat center stage just a ways back to be away from the “major” part of the crowd. The concert started at 7:30 sharp and it was amazing, the lead singer and violinist were my favorites, they really made them sound like ZBB.
They played songs that ZBB plays varying from Highway 20 ride to my favorite Free/Mystic its a “remix” of sorts and is just amazing. After they played Chicken Fried we left which was basically 2.5 hours into the show, they were going to be ending it soon and we wanted to beat the crowd. The park they had the concert in isn’t small per se but they have 1 exit for everyone to leave and it can get very backed up. We made it home in about 3 minutes (the park is very close to my house), and promptly passed out.
Saturday-
I went to the gym at 6 am, I was NOT feeling it at all, but knowing that our wedding is less than a year away and that we still have to take engagement pictures weighs heavily on my mind. I did hamstrings and cardio, I had to cut it a bit short because we were having our brand new washing machine and dryer brought to us! It was desperately needed and they arrived at 7:30. My mum and I cleaned up the basement, moved things around because CA and I have so many presents that we can’t use for our wedding so we just have them stored in the closet.
I had dropped off CA at the train station so he could go to the Mets game and not worry about driving home. I went to a late lunch with C & CA’s mom at the cheesecake factory, the salad I got was delicious! I went shopping and than hit Starbucks on my way home and got ready for the graduation party we got invited to. I picked up CA around 7:30 and went to the party, it was A LOT of fun to see everyone it was D’s birthday so we got to celebrate that as well.
Sunday-
We slept in semi late (8:30), made breakfast and got ready to head off to the beach. After the beach CA and I headed back home to make some kielbasa, zucchini, chicken, cucumber and tomato salad. It was a nice relaxing day and a nice way to end a week and get ready for an extremely busy week ahead!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
