Anyone Have The Time? {JORD Watch Review}

Growing up I always had to wear a watch, just like my mom did. Now, I can’t leave my house without a watch on, otherwise I feel like I’m “missing” a part of me. That’s why when Jord Watches  contacted me about doing a review of one of their amazing wooden watches, I couldn’t say yes fast enough.

After writing my reply, I started checking out their website. They have so many different styles of watches for both men & women. While on the site, I read up on that the watches are 100% natural wood and don’t use any toxic chemicals to treat or protect the wood. The metal parts of the watches are stainless steel and complete the sleek look that the JORD  watch provides. One important thing I discovered, was that the watches are also splash proof, meaning daily life can be continued despite the watch being 100% wooden, which put my mind at ease.

I was given a list of watches to choose from, and it wasn’t easy at all to choose just ONE watch. Luckily, with the help of Le Fiancé, I picked one out of the three I had narrowed down the list to. My choice was the Fieldcrest Series Maple. It’s the perfect color to match with everything, and I love the simplistic design of the face of the watch. One detail I love about the JORD watches is that you can have the watch sized to YOUR wrist. They have a sheet that you print out and measure out the circumference of your wrist and send in. I sized up my watch to be a bit loose and easy to move around throughout the day.

After sending in my measurement, I received an email with the tracking information and a few days later I received my gorgeous watch! Opening the packaging revealed a beautiful wooden box that was holding my new watch It was cushioned around a soft pillow. When I took it out of the box the first thing I realized is how lightweight the watch is! I felt like there was nothing on my wrist. Since I normally wear heavier watches, this was a huge plus.

I got lucky with the weather and was able to take some “fashion selfies” with my DSLR camera. I had fun being able to sport around a beautiful watch and see what outfits I could pair it with.
