We are a week away from 2018…. whaaaaaaaaaaat? I am just not okay with this, anyone else? I feel like 2017 flew by, and I didn’t get most of my “to do” list complete. I wanted to complete so much, especially with my blog, my weight loss journey, and just all things to do with life. But hey that’s how we learn to adjust for the future and hopefully grow, right? There is one thing I got well acquainted with this year, needing a good comfortable BRA.
Yes, bras. Being plus size and having a larger chest my entire life (thanks, mom), a good bra is like essential to being comfortable. I’ve tried many different bras from different companies, and sometimes the most expensive ones aren’t comfortable at all. But let’s be honest, I’m a millennial and don’t want something that isn’t cute too! amiright? Give me some pretty lace, or even just plain “jersey” style bras that are for the weekend or days off. Plus, I dislike the bras that have 0 padding cause for me, I feel like that gives 0 support, and I don’t need a bra with tons of padding either.
It’s like a fine line between needing to be comfortable, support, style, and price. Ain’t no one got time for an expensive bra that isn’t comfortable. Thankfully Dreamfit get’s that women need comfort, style, and affordability in their bras. I love that Dreamfit bras come in many sizes, colors, and styles. I picked up five different bras in the essential (for me) colors, ya know black, white, tan, and I picked up a grey too. Since I work outside the home, I need bras that can fit seamlessly into my wardrobe. During the winter I usually wear dark clothes so the black and grey will be perfect for the dark shirts or dresses. White has always been an essential, just for the lighter shirt days that come, or if I’m just doing errands most of my t-shirts are a lighter color, plus the tan comes in handy too!
The Dreamfit website (hello comfort from your own home), it’ll show you the bra and exactly how each part of the bra works, the straps are wide for comfort, the band provides support, the cups are super soft and give a great shape. I also like that they are full coverage, but the center gore (the part between the cups) is low enough that a plunging neckline won’t be compromised with the bra showing. As I said previously Dreamfit comes in many styles: Back Smoothing Tshirt (I have 2 of these- so comfortable), Deep Plunge (great for those wrap dresses), Multi-Way Plunge (5 different ways to wear!), Convertible Balconette Bra (7 different ways to wear!!) plus two more ways! I wanted to grab the Convertible Balconette but they didn’t have one in my size, but I’ll be keeping my eye out when I go back to Walmart. Yes, Walmart these bras are all available at your local Walmart, or you can shop online! I liked going into the Walmart to see how the bras looked in person and how the padding was, thankfully it was early in the morning (no crazy shoppers yet), and I could take my time.
I think the best part about discovering Dreamfit is that I was comfortable all day long. I know there are women out there, that fix their bra straps, the band, the cups, or just want to throw the bra out the window after a workday. I’ve been so comfortable that I’ve probably spent close to 15 hours some days in my bras, without having the urge to take it off. I work 8 hour days, and when I get home, usually I am cooking and more recently I’ve been baking with my mum. Even if I’m home to stay and we’re not going out, I’m still in my bra, and I don’t feel myself tugging at the straps or cups to “fix” the bra. That’s been my main “aha” moment; the bras are affordable being under $12, they come in different styles, colors, and sizes. You can get a few new bras to be comfortable whether you’re working all day, traveling, or going out and just hope the comfort level stays the same. With these bras, comfort and affordable are number 1, and I’ll be grabbing the deep plunge and the convertible bras to have on hand.
I did a YouTube video that is currently being edited about a Everyday Makeup: Simple Work Day Look. I work outside the home so I apply makeup daily and sometimes even wear foundation. I shared my go to look, it’s easy and if you don’t apply foundation or contour you’re good to go under 10 mins! My whole look takes 20 minutes, 25 mintues if I get distracted. Once the vidoe is live I’ll be sharing that but I wanted to show you my go to “winter” wokr outfit! I am wearing a fabulous bra and truly loved how comfortable I was all day.

If you head to the Dreamfit website, they help you figure out your size, in the comfort of your own home. So maybe you’re between sizes, or the bras you already have don’t fit you properly, you can do it at home with a measuring tape. After you find out your size, make sure you entire the giveaway to win either a $250 gift card to Walmart!
Do you have a favorite bra that is your go-to when you need to replace some bras? Have you tried Dreamfit before? I’ve been using the bras I bought the past two weeks and honestly love them, and for under $12 they won’t break the bank!
Thanks for the tips and info!
