Hey!!! It’s 5 on Friday, I’ve always loved this linkup and I feel like this is the perfect way for me to get back to the roots of why I started blogging. Sharing my life, fitness, basically everything! I’ve been doing some soul searching recently and realized my blog has become more of a job that I had no motivation to work on rather than a job that is my passion that I look forward to working on. I also realized that I was doing a lot of wishing and hoping that I could be like the bloggers I follow and aspire to be, instead of putting in the work that they’ve put in to get where they are. Just plenty of realizing that I need to put work into my blog, having a successful blog, getting dream sponsorships from companies, doesn’t come from sporadic posting. it comes from posting consistently, putting out quality work and letting the passion that I had for blogging come through.

Since I didn’t share this on my blog Monday like I had originally planned, I made a pizza. A homemade pizza. Like I made the dough and everything! I was more shocked that it tasted AMAZING and it looked cute too! I got the recipe from Catherin’s Craze, she originally posted it on IG and remade the pizza and did this fabulous blog post! She is super sweet and the dough is delicious! It’s also simple to make, you just need around 2.5 hours of time which is 90% prep time and around 10-15 minutes of cook time! If you do end up making this, grab a pizza stone, it bakes the pizza evenly and gets the crust really crispy! I got one from a small kitchen store near me but this one is similar plus a 20% off coupon is always available. Also, don’t use flour, get cornmeal (I got it for like $2.50 in a sealable container) it’s needed so the pizza doesn’t stick to the stone and when you’re rolling out the dough it won’t stick to the counter or rolling pin.

CA and I are officially going to BACK to Europe next year! We’re waiting for the Manchester City schedule to be released (June 14) to see exactly when we’ll be going. It’ll be around 12 days long, we’ll be going to Ireland, England, and France (Paris). England will be our longest leg because we will lose a day with the ManCity game since we’ll be centered in London. We’re also going to be visiting the town that my great grandfather originated from, which is a 15-minute train ride from London, I can’t wait to just be in the town and see my mom’s last name all over. I also found a restaurant to grab some food at too! Ireland we’ll be going to the Titanic Museum which also involves the Cliffs of Moher and the Giants Bridge. Paris will just be the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Norte Dome, we’ll have around 2.5 days in Paris and we’ll be heading home from there.

I’ve repurchased TruVision, I was taking it a few months ago and loved how it made me feel and I was losing weight. I want to lose weight, for myself, to feel better, and to like what I see in the mirror again. I would also like to get back into other clothes that were my favorites and to feel good in them. I had energy and motivation with TruVision so I hope once I start taking it again it’ll be easier to get back into the gym routine. I do plan on going back to the gym regardless on Monday, I follow the BBG (Sweat App on the phone), I’ll be restarting week 1, you lift weights 3 days, cardio 3 days, and recovery 1 day. Since I go to a gym I follow PWR Beginner, it’s eased me back into lifting weights again and the cardio is good to do on the days I don’t do legs. I’m also going to be starting to train for a half marathon I plan on doing in September with one of my best friend’s Brey. I don’t want to pay for the half until I’m halfway through my training and I’ve been following it and really/truly committing to the program. I hope that doing a check in once a week with my blog like I used to and sharing it on IG stories and photos and etc will keep me motivated past the unwillingness to wake up at 4 am.

Two important dates are coming up for CA and I plus, a very happy birthday in two weeks to the hubby. CA’s birthday is at the end of this month and we’re going to be seeing Avengers: Infinity War, I already bought the tickets for our 3D IMAX experience the day it comes out. We’ll also be spending the 28th in NYC, we’re going to the Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum, One World Observatory as well as dinner at Osteria Morini (Downtown). We had gone to Osteria Morini in DC last year and LOVED the food it was to die for and we were limited on our choices because it was during Lent and we had dinner on a Friday, so no meat. So we’re excited to try Osteria Morini in NYC!
The other two dates that are coming up is our Engagement anniversary and our Wedding anniversary. Our engagement anniversary is May 17th, and we always go out to Greenport (North Fork of LI) where we got engaged. This year, we’re going on our own winery/brewery tasting tour and a dinner out, plus the following day two more wineries and a brewery. Our wedding anniversary will be a dinner out, drinks, and some ice cream! Since we have our cruise this November and (still) house hunting we’re keeping it lowkey. Plus we have 3 weddings this fall, and one of them both CA and I are in, I am the Matron of Honor and CA is one of the best men.

I’m SO excited, next weekend my mom and I are going to Boston for the weekend from Friday-Sunday. We haven’t gone to Boston since I was 16 for my cousin’s wedding, we were there for 5 days and it was a blast! I don’t remember all of the details I just remember eating where Cheers was filmed and was SO excited! I am hoping for some warm-ish Spring weather so we can be outside and enjoy it without being incredibly cold. I also plan on doing some shopping at Torrid, I have some HauteCash (savings earned from my last purchase) so I can get mega savings on regularly priced clothes! I think I’m going to grab a few more dresses and a few tops for work/the weekend. I’m also excited to eat at Legal Seafood, I LOVE seafood and I can’t wait to enjoy all of the seafood and some drinks! Stay tuned to my Instagram for all of the pictures!
Favorite Finds is going to be a new thing I’m going to share on my blog and on Instagram! I get so many emails and just random browsing that I do I find some pretty awesome things to share! Even though I haven’t shared anything during this week I’m sharing what I’ve found that is definitely share-worthy!
