Living in NY we’ve been slightly lucky with the weather being warmer than usual. I know the warm-ish weather won’t last too long so I’m already preparing to be a home body for a while. CA and I like to do things outside of the home but when it’s cold I most certainly don’t like doing anything. Some of my favorite past times are binge watching new or old TV shows, but who wants to be attached to where the TV is in your home? I most certainly don’t, I love watching shows on my laptop, it travels with me, everywhere even if I’m just in the house.
Usually I watch TV shows while being somewhere in my house, I multitask with doing some blogging things, getting everything in order for the coming week. Binge watching shows while I get things done is my favorite winter and bad weather pastime, as well as the future fun times.

In the third season of the hit NBC drama “The Blacklist,” FBI Agent Elizabeth “Liz” Keen (Megan Boone, “Law & Order: Los Angeles”) is now a fugitive and on the run with criminal mastermind Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader, “The Office,” “Boston Legal”). With Assistant FBI Director Harold Cooper under investigation, a conflicted Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff, “Homeland”) leads the FBI Task Force on a massive manhunt for Liz and Red – more dangerous together than apart since Liz has expert knowledge of FBI procedures and no one exceeds Red’s vast resources. As they struggle to stay one step ahead of their former colleagues and Liz immerses herself into Red’s underworld of disreputable contacts and covert operations, will the notorious list of new Blacklisters this season play a key role in their survival or their demise? Liz is on an unpredictable journey of self-discovery and all the pieces of her life, including her indefinable relationship with Tom (Ryan Eggold, “90210”), will be drastically challenged as she continues to believe Red holds all the answers.
From creator/executive producer Tim Kring, who imagined NBC’s original critically-acclaimed 2006 “Heroes” series, comes “Heroes Reborn,” an epic 13-episode event series that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.
A year ago, a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas, left the city decimated. Blamed for the tragic event, those with extraordinary abilities are in hiding or on the run from those with nefarious motives.
Two such vigilantes include Luke (Zachary Levi, “Chuck”) and Joanne (Judith Shekoni, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2”), who are seeking to avenge a tragic loss.
Noah Bennet, a.k.a. H.R.G. (Jack Coleman, “Heroes”), has gone off the grid but conspiracy theorist Quentin Frady (Henry Zebrowski, “A to Z”) finds him and opens his eyes to the truth behind the Odessa tragedy.
While in hiding, some are discovering their newfound skills. Awkward teen Tommy (Robbie Kay, “Once Upon a Time”) just wants to be normal and win the girl of his dreams, Emily (Gatlin Green, “Criminal Minds”), but normalcy is virtually impossible after learning of a new ability that terrifies him. Coming from a very sheltered upbringing, a bold and ethereal teenager, Malina (Danika Yarosh, “Shameless”), has been told she is destined for greatness. In Tokyo, a quiet and unique young woman, Miko (Kiki Sukezane, “Death Yankee 3”), is trying to track down her missing father while hiding an extraordinary secret that will make her a force to be reckoned with. Elsewhere, a different type of hero is emerging through former soldier Carlos (Ryan Guzman, “The Boy Next Door”).
Meanwhile, the head of the highly successful tech conglomerate, Renautas (Rya Kihlstedt, “Masters of Sex”), has an agenda of her own.
For better or for worse, some are fated to cross paths with assorted heroes of the past, including Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka), Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg), Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis), among others. Yet, together, their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world and mankind.
Joining Kring are executive producers James Middleton (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) and Peter Elkoff (“Sons of Anarchy”). “Heroes Reborn” is produced by Imperative Entertainment, in association with Universal Television.

“The Voice” returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show’s ninth season. Internationally acclaimed artist Gwen Stefani returns to join megastars Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as celebrity musician coaches, while Carson Daly continues to serve as host.
The show’s innovative format features five stages of competition: the first begins with the Blind Auditions, then the Battle Rounds, the Knockouts, the Live Playoff’s and finally, the Live Performance Shows.
During the Blind Auditions, the decisions from the musician coaches are based solely on voice and not on looks. The coaches hear the artists perform, but they don’t get to see them — thanks to rotating chairs. If a coach is impressed by the artist’s voice, he/she pushes a button to select the artist for his/her team. At this point, the coach’s chair will swivel so that he/she can face the artist he/she has selected. If more than one coach pushes his/her button, the power then shifts to the artists to choose which coach they want to work with. If no coach pushes his/her button, the artist is eliminated from the competition.
Once the teams are set, the battle is on. Coaches will dedicate themselves to developing their team of artists, giving them advice, and sharing the secrets of their success, along with help from their celebrity advisers. During the Battle Rounds, the coaches will pit two of their own team members against each other to sing the same song together in front of a studio audience. After the vocal battle, the coach must choose which of his/her singers will advance to the next round of competition, while the losing artist is available to be stolen by another coach. Each coach has two steals available during the Battle Rounds.
At the end of the battles, only the strongest members of each coach’s roster remain and proceed to the Knockout Rounds. Here, the artists will be paired against a teammate once more, but this time they will select their own songs to perform individually, while their direct competitor watches and waits. They are vying for their coach’s confidence and decision to take them to the Live Shows. One superstar, universal advisor will be on hand to work with all of the coaches and their teams as they prepare the artists for this challenge. But the coaches alone will choose the winner and the artist not selected will be available to be stolen by another coach. Each coach has one steal available during the Knockout Rounds.
In the Live Playoff Rounds, the top 20 artists will compete to secure a spot in the Live Shows. Artists will perform live and America will vote to save their two favorite artists from each team. The coaches will then save one remaining artist to complete their roster. The remaining contestants will move on to the final phase of the competition, the Live Shows.
In the final live performance phase of the competition, the top 12 artists will compete each week against each other during a live broadcast. The television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. Three artists with the lowest number of votes will be eligible for the “Instant Save.” These artists will each perform a new song that represents why they should earn the save. Then, America will have the opportunity to save their favorite performer by tweeting out #VoiceSave along with the artist’s name. The two singers with the lowest number of votes will be sent home each week. In the end, one will be named “The Voice” and will receive the grand prize of a recording contract.
“The Voice” is a presentation of United Artists Media Group (an MGM company), Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Lee Metzger and Jay Bienstock.
From renowned Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf (“Law & Order” brand) and creators Derek Haas and Michael Brandt, the writing team behind “3:10 to Yuma,” comes season four of the high-octane drama “Chicago Fire” — an edge-of-your-seat view into the lives of everyday heroes committed to one of America’s noblest professions. For the firefighters, rescue squad and paramedics of Chicago Firehouse 51, no occupation is more stressful or dangerous, yet so rewarding and exhilarating. These courageous men and women are among the elite who forge headfirst into danger when everyone else is running the other way and whose actions make the difference between life and death.
The pressure to perform on such a high level has a way of taking a personal toll, sometimes putting team members from the Truck and the specially trained Rescue Squad at odds with each other. Despite any differences, this is an extended family, and when it’s “go time,” everyone inside Firehouse 51 knows no other way than to lay it all on the line for each other. Lt. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer, “House”) leads the Truck Company, and brash Lt. Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney, “The Vampire Diaries”) runs the Rescue Squad.
The firehouse also includes Battalion Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker, “Oz”), a fireman’s fireman who recently welcomed a newborn son with his wife, Donna (Melissa Ponzio, “Teen Wolf”). As chief of the firehouse, it’s Boden’s job to keep everything in line and running smoothly between truck and squad. Paramedic turned tough-as-nails firefighter Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund, “The Good Wife”) returns alongside Paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer, “Beyond the Mask”) and seasoned veteran Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg, “Sex and the City”). Dora Madison also joins the cast as spunky, spirited paramedic Jessica “Chili” Chilton.
Also returning for the fourth season are Randy “Mouch” McHolland (Christian Stolte), Jose Cruz (Joe Minoso) and Brian “Otis” Zvonecek (Yuri Sardarov).
In addition to Wolf, Haas and Brandt, executive producers also include Matt Olmstead (“Breakout Kings”), Joe Chappelle (“The Wire”), Danielle Gelber (Chicago-branded series), Arthur Forney (“Law & Order” brand, Chicago-branded series) and Peter Jankowski (“Law & Order” brand, Chicago-branded series).
“Chicago Fire” is produced by Universal Television and Wolf Films.
At the center of “Chicago P.D.” is Detective Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), who is at ground zero against the war on crime in Chicago. He will do ANYTHING to bring criminals to justice.
From multiple Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf and the team behind the hit series “Chicago Fire,” ‘Chicago P.D.” is a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s elite Intelligence Unit, combatting the city’s most heinous offenses – organized crime, drug trafficking, high profile murders and beyond.
Hand-picked as the head of the Unit is Voight, who has assembled a team of diverse detectives who share his passion, and commitment to keep the city safe. They include: Detective Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) who is more level-headed and “by the book” than his counterpart; Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), a brash young detective who previously saw active military duty in the Middle East; Halstead’s partner Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush), a former “bad girl” who turned her life around with Voight’s help; Alvin Olinsky (Elias Koteas), an experienced undercover detective and confidante for Voight; and Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), a quick-witted cadet plucked from the police academy as Olinsky’s partner.
The Unit includes a new member in the form of Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins), a charismatic patrolman who recently was brought upstairs. Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Sean Roman (Brian Geraghty) assist with the unit but on a daily basis they work the streets as uniform patrol officers often working with intelligence whenever necessary. Desk Sgt. Trudy Platt (Amy Morton) runs a tight precinct with tough love although she lets her softer more vulnerable side shine through from time to time.
In addition to Wolf, executive producers include Matt Olmstead (“Chicago Fire,” “Breakout Kings,” “Prison Break”), Peter Jankowski (“Law & Order” branded series, “Chicago Fire,”), Michael Brandt and Derek Haas (“Chicago Fire,” “3:10 to Yuma”), Danielle Gelber (“Chicago Fire”), Mark Tinker (“NYPD Blue”) and Arthur Forney (“Law& Order: SVU,” “Chicago Fire).
“Chicago P.D.” is produced by Wolf Films in association with Universal Television.

I’d definitely be binging on The Blacklist. I love that actor. It would be great to have access to my other NBC faves too.
Interesting, I’m really curious about The Blacklist and Chicago PD. I would love to see those shows!
I am so glad I heard about this app. I just realized Blacklist wasn’t on Hulu anymore, so I was able to catch up with it on the NBC app.
