I love Martha Stewart, especially anything dessert related. I haven’t mastered all baking aspects so I’m excited to learn any tips or tricks that Martha Stewart is able to show us. This “young” dog can learn new tricks that can make baking easier and maybe show me a different way to make a favorite recipe!? Do you love to bake, or maybe want to start baking but don’t really know where to start? Well, then this event is perfect for you! It’s at the Roosevelt Field Mall, May 3rd (Wednesday), at 6:00 PM. Even if you live in NYC or the boroughs, hop on a train and you can meet me! Martha Stewart is also talking about her new book, A New Way to Bake! She’ll be doing a selection of recipes for her demonstration, from the book. I hope she does a cake or some cookies, that would be divine! I am so jazzed that I am able to attend this event and it’s a nice plus for this Long Islander, it doesn’t involve going on the LIRR.
Check with your local Macy’s to see if any are happening near you!
As per usual of Culinary Council demos, the event is FREE! However, prior RSVP is required. Click here to reserve your spot. Upon check-in, you’ll receive a $10 Macy’s gift card! Also, if you make any $50+ Martha Stewart Collection between now and the demo, you’ll receive a free copy of her latest book, and the chance to meet Martha and have her autograph it for you! I got lucky that at my Bridal Shower I was gifted with many different bake ware from Martha Stewart! I dream of having a white/gray kitchen so the Martha Stewart Heirloom Collection will really pull the house together.I personally love my Copper Bowl (it holds 5 qts- perfect for baking cookies), Mixing bowls and Apron (because let’s be real, I’m a messy baker) from the Heirloom Collection.
I hope you are as excited as I am, grab a friend or fly solo and come out to Garden City for the demo! If you can find me come say hello, I love meeting people from my blog! See you at Macy’s Roosevelt Field on May 3rd at 6:00 p.m.
