It’s the start to another week already! I want to start posting on my blog consistently so this is a start for me! Since I work in an office, I need to have a closet that works for both work and everything else. But, I am also working with a budget, so it’s a balance of having affordable pieces as well as splurge worthy ones. So, in order to be more consistent I figured sharing what I wear weekly can give an idea to anyone that works outside of the home or is starting a new job.
Before I get to the outfits these are the things that are the same and they don’t vary much.
Shoes- I either wear Marc Fisher velvet or black leather block heels.
Tights- I have these tights from Torrid, they’re warm for the winter time
Boots- It’s a low heel, knee high boots that I usually wear with jeans or leggings.
Monday- I wore a green floral dress with block heels. This dress is originally from Target but it’s out of stock now. So I’m linking a few similar dresses that are within the price range that is similar to Target. The shoes I wore were the velvet Marc Fishers.
Tuesday- This is my new LBD, it’s super cute! It’s black polka dot, with a wide belt to go around the waist. It gave me a Lucille Ball vibe with the flare of the bottom half. This could be worn all year round, and during the summer it could be worn with white or red heels!
Wednesday- I wore jeans, and a plaid shirt and tall boots. Since I went to get a facial and came home later than expected I completely forgot to take a picture. But if you watch my IGTV story you’ll see the plaid top and part of my jeans on the video.
Thursday- I wore the red skirt from ModCloth that I shared with a collab with a few other bloggers. And the black top from Target, it’s long sleeve so it was better for the colder weather. CA and I celebrated Valentine’s Day the day before to avoid the crowds and possibly expensive night out.
Friday- Red tunic and black leggings with the same boots I wore on Wednesday. I wanted to be warm at work and be casual at the same time.
Do you work outside the home ? Or do you work from home? What’s your go-to outfit if you have to go to a meeting?

I think the floral dress is my favorite. It’s a bummer that it’s sold out now – but I also love the similar dresses that you linked. And I love how festive you got for Valentine’s Day too!
Love this and all of the options. Haven’t worked outside of home in a few years but having some style inspo for work is so helpful! xoxo, Sarah
