I love flowers, I look forward to receiving them when my anniversary comes up and also Valentine’s day. I always try and make them last as long as possible because they are so beautiful and it reminds me that CA does listen. I have done plenty for the wedding already, it’s quite hard to do more when the wedding is 2 years away. I have done things for the engagement party- I purchased the invites and thank you cards for it. I also have everything to make a little thing to make a little present for the girls I’d like to ask to be in my bridal party. I am also getting ideas for a new center piece idea for the actual wedding, I was thinking I would be getting round tables not long tables so everything is changed.
Getting back onto topic, flowers for the wedding, I actually have no idea beyond that I’d like blue somewhere in my flowers. I do like roses, and know that they are in season all year round. I also know I don’t want to spend a lot on flowers, they are beautiful, but I won’t spend too much on them. It’s also a reason why I am using some sort of candle arrangement as my center piece and not flowers, because it’s less money.
I have an appoitment this Saturday to meet with a florist whom 3 girls I went to high school with used/are using for their weddings. I am thrilled to go, and see what kind of ideas she has and what arrangements she can come up with for me. My mom and aunt are going with me since CA has told me he does NOT want to know how much I spend on flowers.
These are the ideas on Pinterest I’ve seen that I like, all I searched was “blue summer flowers wedding”:
For me, flowers are not that huge of a deal, so we didn't have a huge budget going towards them. However, the cascading flowers are gorgeous, but you might want to wait to see what your dress is going to look like. My florist told me that since my dress has so much pretty detail around the waist, we don't want to cover it up with the flowers. Just a thought 🙂
Oh my goodness, what beautiful arrangements!
