CA and I went to a wedding this past Saturday for his friends Matt & Jess, and it was a blast! I was feeling a bit self conscious as I had mentioned in yesterday’s post, so I really wanted to have my make up look amazingly awesome.Luckily I received brand new face makeup to try from Mia Mariu and I am so glad I did!

I picked out the color closest to my tanning skin tone and it matches perfectly and doesn’t make me look washed out. When I was getting ready I made sure to pack it in my make up bag along with some bronzer to give me a little hint of tan which I usually use anytime I have any kind of face make up on.

Now for the amazing part, the before and after, usually I never have any pictures of my face without make up, but I figured for this post I could handle it.

{On the left: no make up, I literally just finished tweezing my eyebrows when I realized this would be a great time to take a before picture. As you can see my little blemishes on the chin area, that is always an issue for me so I was excited to see if this would cover it up}

{On the right: make up! ALL of the make up, I used the face make up that I received in the mail, also I did my eye make up, lip gloss, some bronzer, and a little bit of concealer magic}

The face make up took about 15 minutes for me to do, the primer went on quickly and no filmy or greasy residue was left behind {SCORE!}. The concealer I used under my eyes, and around the red patches that are all over my face, the foundation was quick and easy with the brush since I opted for the loose powder. I have a natural tint to my cheeks so I added in my own bronzer to give me some color, and I used additional concealer to certain chin areas that were still visible. The concealer that this came with worked on the red blotchy areas perfectly so it was nice not to have to add anything there.

I normally don’t wear face make up but, for weddings or special occasions I break it out and transform my face. I am pleased to report also that the make up came off easily with my wet face wipes when we returned from the wedding, and no new pimples or anything have appeared. It didn’t clog my pores which is a HUGE plus in my book, because why wear make up when it will clog your pores and create more pimples that you are already trying to cover up? It is the big reason why I don’t wear face make up just because I haven’t found that special face make up that doesn’t clog up my pores when I wear it.
