This weekend was a lot of fun, we had a great time with everyone and I’m a little sad it’s over.
It was a night in, I made dinner and we just vegged out and passed out quite early… 8 pm. We are party animals trust me LOL.
Saturday morning I headed to the gym to workout upper body & legs, and I did about 30 minutes on the bike. The gym opens up at 6 am so I got there before it opened and got a workout in quick.
After the gym I went home made breakfast and the rest of the day relaxing. Around 4, I started getting ready for our friend’s Engagement Party. It was at the same place we had our engagement party, but in a different room. It started at 6:30 and we had so much fun spending time with friends and the happy couple.
The picture below is almost all the girls of the group. We made sure basically right before we were going to leave that we had a picture of the girls. The girl standing next to me in the white & black dress is the bride to be! She’s getting married in November 2016.
After the party we went out to a local bar to continue the celebration and we headed home a little after 11.
I headed into Brooklyn around 8:30 am, to spend some time with Carissa. Luckily it’s an easy trip into Park Slope and it was a gorgeous day out so walking to her apartment was nice. We made a practice Turkey for her friends giving she is having at her apartment later this month. It was so much fun to spend time and relax being able to catch up. Around 1 CA picked me up so we could go to the Red Bulls game in NJ.
We hit some traffic because it is Sunday and getting out of lower Manhattan is NEVER easy. We hit even more traffic getting into the area of the arena, I had to jump out of the car cause I was desperate LOL. We parked next to the arena and walked in with enough time to get to our seats before kick off.
We had seats in section 127, almost mid field row 7, which is prime spot for a soccer game. The entire game it was crazy, Red Bulls were only up 1 – 0 with aggregate scoring. It’s difficult to explain and I am horrible at explaining it. Finally at the 92 minute (additional play time) BWP scored a goal, meaning DC United needed to score at least 2 goals within 2 minutes that were remaining.
