Well I’m not Stella, and technically speaking I didn’t get my groove back, but I (Renee), got my motivation mojo back! Woohoo for that, I am not sure where it exactly came from but I am back in LOVE with working out. Don’t get me wrong waking up at 4:15 AM is STILL crappy, but once I’m at the gym, earbuds in, techno/EDM music on BLAST and I am ready to GO!
I love going to the gym, it really makes me stress less. I do love to lift weights, it makes me feel strong and powerful as my weights go up. When I go to the gym at 5am, I arrive there like 5:02am, I talk to NO ONE, besides the dude or chick at the desk quickly nod and say morning. That is basically all I talk once I step foot in the gym, it’s 5 AM which equals it’s TOO early to attempt to TALK to me. I also have quite the resting b***h face, basically RBF syndrome, because yea I can’t do it. When I am done with my gym session before 6 AM, I kind of do a little dance (i.e. see GIF below). I only take about an hour max to do my workouts, I go to the gym about 5 maybe 6 days a week, so it’s spread out. I only do certain body parts/areas each day, like legs monday, chest/tris tuesday, legs wednesday, back/bis thursday, friday off, saturday off (long run), sunday abs/shoulders/calves. That all means my gym sessions can be under an hour, I don’t talk to anyone, I don’t really delay, my rest times are only 30 seconds. I just like it, get in, kick some boot-ay, and get out! I’m home by 6:15, I can shower, make my shake (breakfast), relax, blog a bit, and just chill out.
I am having a “little” bit of a hard time getting back into running continuously, the RunStart program is a great pusher to help me exceed my running times. But I just can’t do it alone, it sucks to run at night, cause it’s SO humid, like 1000000% humidity, BLAH just NO. I will NOT run on the treadmill, just NO, I sweat profusely while running and I really look like I’m going to die shortly. Sometimes I even get this visual in my head that I’ll end up like Mike Wazowski and not so dainty fall off the treadmill. LOL
Besides ALL that running hubub, I love lifting and how it’s reshaping my body, I am also on a new “lifestyle change plan” (I will not call it a diet), so I can’t wait to see how it works for me. It is from my doctor because NOTHING was getting me off this plateau. Anyways, I am thinking that once I am off this plateau and I am below 200 lbs, I may… just maybe be dancing like this dude on the treadmill.
Congrats on your weight loss girl! Man if you can dance like that man on the treadmill then just wow lol Good luck with the rest of your transformation! You are doing amazing girl!
