I’m super excited to be apart of Trend Spin Linkup with Laura {Walking in Memphis in High Heels} and Erin {The Fashion Canvas} again, I love both of these women and they have such fabulous style! Happy April! I really can’t believe how quickly the first 3 months of this year flew by, I swear I was just preparing for my 12 day Europe vacation last week. This week the weather has been a bit warmer, thankfully! We’re supposed to get temperatures up to 50/55 this week so I’m hoping the temps will stop going up and down and we can enjoy some Spring!
I honestly LOVE this dress, and truth be told I didn’t think I’d ever really like this dress. I bought it last year in March, it’s crushed velvet and is very flattering. Even though it’s pink and to be honest the last color I’d ever thought I’d wear. But, after wearing it for a few different times, I love it! I’ve paired it with black stockings and black booties for a winter look, and this time for Spring we’re going with nude peep toe wedges. If it’s warm enough out I plan on wearing this to Easter Sunday Mass, and maybe the lunch/dinner that will follow. That depends on if I’m cooking or not, because I tend to spill food/drinks when I don’t want to the most.
We’re having Easter at our house and then we’ll be going to CA’s house for dessert. I have been thinking about what to make for a late lunch, plus the desserts to make. We go to 8 am mass so we can get home in time to cook, but I may try cooking something in the CrockPot or doesn’t take too long in the oven. What are you all making for Easter this year? Let me know!
For my outfit since both the shoes and dress were purchased last year, I linked similar shoes and dresses that are pink plus other Easter dresses that are perfect. The dress is from Torrid so if you have one locally you may be able to find it on the clearance rack. I’ve also seen it on Poshmark when I was searching for dresses that are similar. The wedges are in stock but the sizes are limited so I link three other similar shoes.
The wind was a bit troubling, but for this shot was perfect- the full skirt and the crazy hair, explains me perfectly LOL
