It’s not a shocker that most everyone has a cell phone now, more than half being smart phones. The age of the smartphone, isn’t actually a bad thing, it makes staying in touch while on the go much easier, especially with relatives all over the world (possibly), or even across the continent. I know I use my iPhone constantly, for social media which is an obvious statement, as well as different applications for wedding planning! I am able to see my countdown day by day get smaller and smaller (which is scary). as well as keeping in touch with relatives that live far. See why I’m insisting unplugged family, friends and CA time, while we have some #MomentoNESCAFÉ.
Family dinner times are not a thing like they once were, both parents usually have to work, kids are in after school activities, long days, no time to cook, and etc. I mean, in my house, we’re all on different schedules, lots of doing after work things, meetings, just being busy! My mom planning different wedding things for me, that I’m not allowed to be apart of (LOL), even me, CA & I are busy, we like doing different things during the week. Our family time usually comes on Friday nights, or the weekends, but we’re approaching summer time, means BBQs, more sporting events to attend, and being out more.
I’ll be the first person to admit, I’m most likely on my cell phone more than I should be, whether it’s at family events (bad I know), sporting events (live: baseball & tv: football), and other random times. I’ve caught myself going on social media apps just because I have no idea what I want to do, or check to see my stats, check emails, play games. I’ve made a point now to put down my phone, if I don’t need to be on it, especially during family times. During certain sporting events, I’ll still be on it (LOL), it’s just rough, because baseball sometimes moves a little slow, as well as football season, I need to check my fantasy football teams! But my one on one time with CA, friends, family, is now focused on them, have actual “face time” and I don’t mean on our phones. There are times to be on the phone, and being with family isn’t one of them, unless you’re showing them something you’re talking about or taking some fun pictures! You all know I love pictures!
The best way we elongate our time together is with #MomentoNESCAFÉ, it’s the perfect ending to a great meal or even a night out! My family loves to have some coffee at night, it prolongs the night and more topics can be talked about! With growing families all around us, even friends have some one on one time is always special and always needs to be remembered. Check out this amazing video showing exactly what I’m talking about!
