Since my weight loss journey has really “upped” its game this year with the wedding being NEXT June {it’s SO much fun to say NEXT year not in 2 years. After January being a great month for weight loss I have decided to join in on Weigh In Wednesdays, it’ll keep me accountable for weight loss and I can go back to how my week was and what I did or didn’t do.
This week is the start of week 5, under Katie’s coaching, I am excited to be half way in the program I finish the week that CA & I go on our cruise. This week the routines change, a little bit more HIIT/Cardio, one less leg day {sad panda} and an additional shoulder day, that also includes a chest day.
PR’s from the past week {Personal Records} for lifting–
these PR’s aren’t a 1RM {rep max}, but they are a PR for the amount of sets/reps I have to complete
{the # is in place of lbs… it’s a weight lifting thing LOL}
Squats- 135#
Deadlifts- 135#
Leg Press- 180#
Hip Thrusts- 150#
Bench Press- 90# {these SUCK}
Shoulder Press- 50# {these also SUCK}
Running news is very far and few between, it’s been rough to try and get back into running, I have a half marathon coming up in March, the furthest I’ve run so far is 7 miles. The half marathon has a 3 hour 30 minute time limit, that is basically walking at a 16:00 min/mile pace, which isn’t terrible. I am hoping I can find my running mojo back, it’s COLD, and recently we’ve had some… white, annoying, FLUFFY crap. I don’t trust my ankles enough to run on the snow where I could slip, fall or hurt myself. I am really trying to run on the treadmill at my gym, there’s really no excuse, I’m at the gym at 5 am, I don’t have to be at work until 9 am, I could be AT the gym until 7:30 {or essentially running until than outside} and I would STILL be at work on time.
SO the weigh in part.
Starting weight : 250#
Weight loss: -5# {within one month}
Current weight: 245#

Congrats on the loss! I am getting married in November so I am right there with ya trying to lose some weight. I link up on Sundays with some girls for a Step Up sunday and I love it. It has only been 2 weeks since we started it but it has definitely helped me stay accountable!
