Ah… my wedding is 248 days away… ONLY 248 days away. And my weight loss? Is at a MAJOR halt. Why? It’s all my OWN fault. I can admit that, it’s my own fault, I have no one to blame but myself. I’ve lost my motivation, even though I have LESS THAN ONE YEAR til I get married.
I have everything I could possibly need to lose weight, I have healthy habits, a gym membership, a cleared basement room for at home workouts. The best of all? Cooler weather… and what am I doing? Bitching that I am SO tired to get up and go to the gym.
That is going to CHANGE. I can’t look how I do for my wedding, I’ll be beyond embarrassed and 10000% mortified that I had SO long to change how I look but all I did was yo-yo my weight. It has to stop because I want to be a hot wife, I want to look great for my wedding and Mediterranean Cruise.
So I am documenting ON my public blog that today is the day I stop making excuses. I’ll always be tired, because that’s life. I’ll never lose the weight unless I buckle down and start going to the gym. Going to the gym- waking up at 4 am, I did it for MANY months, I can do it AGAIN. And I must do it again, until I reach the results I want.
With WIW (Weigh In Wednesday)- I’ll be recapping my week of going to the gym, losing weight and reporting inches lost. I am hoping that I can get into a routine, and get rid of my excuses. I didn’t think I’d be here, at this weight, still SO close to my wedding.
SO here we go- starting FRESH. TODAY.. I’m done with my excuses, lifting weights 4 days a week with a nice split. Running AT LEAST 3 DAYS a week at the gym OR outside, as well as cardio 3 additional days to running. So that’s 4 days of lifting (M,T,Th & F), 3 designated days of running, most likely on the days I do upper body work, and 3 other days of some type of cardio. I also purchased a groupon for Hot Yoga, there’s a studio close to me and I’ll be trying it out next week, I need to get a yoga mat and towels, I’ve never done yoga but I know this will help me greatly. I’ll be doing it once a week, maybe twice if I like it that much. I’m not sure how that’ll go after the 15 classes are up, but you never know.
There it is- out on the interwebs for ALL to see, I need to lose weight, this blog on which I started SOLELY to keep me motivated which it did in 2013. Here goes nothing.
