So I am sure y’all have seen the advocare 10 day cleanse floating around the blogging world. I first saw it from Ashton at A Fluffy Girl; and I was like WOW that is awesome, cause you CAN EAT!
Most cleanses I’ve seen whether they are 3 days, 10 days, 24 days or 30 days. Most of them you can’t eat a lot, OR you just don’t eat at all besides drinking juices. I am not saying anything is WRONG with those kinds of cleanses, but it’s SO not for me. I need to eat, I LOVE food (obvi) so a no eating cleanse will not work. I will fall off quickly and waste the money I spent on the cleanse. No good right? Especially when saving for a wedding.
If you have Instagram you saw that I posted this Monday saying I started this yesterday (Tuesday 5/27). So along with CA we will be finishing this cleanse on June 6th! Super excited to do this, after day 1, no headaches, no starving, no dizziness, no side effects.
^ Above is what you get in the little box I am holding (there is no cake included sorry! ;). You have the fiber drink, the pro biotics pills, the herbal cleanse, and the little booklet with the information and schedule.
This is the schedule, and tells you what days and TOD (time of day) to take the drink or pills. It says what is in the pills/drink (on the box) and also what the pills/drink will help your body with.
In the little booklet it also states what foods to stay away from ie: fried foods, white bread/rice, and fatty foods (bad fat).
Basically you can follow this grocery list of foods that are “clean” foods. It is from Kelsey Byers Fitness website. Now everyone has their own opinion about what clean is, and even though I am doing IIFYM (which isn’t all about clean food) this is something I will “follow” loosely to get the best out of my cleanse. I will also be eating carbs before 3pm, I’d rather eat my carbs while my body is still active and awake so it has more the opportunity to burn them.
I am super excited to see the results from this cleanse, and its a nice bonus that CA is doing this with me. Would you ever do a cleanse, why or why not?
