Happy Monday! I can’t believe this is the final week of June, I’m in disbelief! We have two full months of summer left to enjoy and I plan on taking full advantage of it. Since I work in an office during the week, I like to wear more makeup during the week than I do on the weekends. I had to keep in mind that I still needed something that would stand up to the heat and humidity, whether it was a workday or a weekend. Some of these products aren’t new but they’re my go-to favorites, and they could be new to YOU ;).
.Clinique Even Better Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15, this is great for the no makeup days. I usually apply this and use concealer for my under eyes, and it evens out my skin tone! I love that it has SPF 15, I wear this over my Olay moisturizer that has SPF 25 so I feel like I’m set with this combo! A little goes a long way with this, so it’ll last me all summer! I also use this on cruises, since it’s usually hot I don’t want to be sweating off all my makeup!
.Urban Decay Backtalk Palette– it took me forever to purchase this. And now that I did, I’m hooked! I love that there is eyeshadow, blush, and a highlighter all in one! I rarely use contour during the summer time so this palette is perfect. I also use this as my travel palette when I can’t pack everything, even though I do anyway. I love these other palettes too.
.Watermelon Glow Jelly Sheet Mask– I have been into sheet masks lately, I feel like it’s a great way to rejuvenate my face skin and just pamper myself. I know after wearing makeup and then cleaning it off can make my skin look tired. I like doing the sheet masks before a long day, or just when I feel like my face needs it I’ll relax with a sheet mask on. I found a few other masks that I like!
.Laura Mercier Setting Powder: Holy Grail product for REAL. Even if I am just wearing concealer under my eyes (for those dark circles) I set my concealer. It helps it not crease, and there is 0 transfer from my eyeliner and mascara. If I do foundation I’ll set my under eyes, my smile lines, my forehead, around my nose, and my jawline (I like to touch my face alto so this helps). I also love the Too Faced Peach Perfect setting powder & Drugstore Favorite is the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Setting Powder.
.Too Faced – Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray– I tried this because one of my favorite YouTubers LOVES this spray. It can be used for 3 different things and I love it. I have a bottle and have had it for like 6 months. I carry the travel size around with me when we’re out and I feel like I need a spritz to refresh my face and makeup.
.Tatcha – The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment– This has been so heavenly for my under eyes. I like wearing this on the weekends, it brightens my under eyes and I need less concealer. Also, it really hydrates so my concealer looks so much less cakey.
.Tatcha – The Silk Canvas Protective Primer– A few YouTubers I watch swear by this and use this with a primer spray to really make the makeup last longer. I like that this primer smooths out everything, it doesn’t make it disappear but it makes a smoothing “filter” appear underneath the makeup.
.Too Faced – Hangover Replenishing Face Primer– This is one of the most hydrating primers I have used, and it doesn’t make the makeup slick or slide all over my face. I have normal skin but combo in my T-Zone, especially during the summertime. I like this primer all year round with the spray to match.
.Too Faced – Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation– If we’re going out or have an event to go to I’ll use this foundation. I really like how it looks, even if it’s hot and humid. I pair this with the Laura Mercier powder to see any places that I crease, which for me is my smile lines, nose, forehead, and since this doesn’t transfer I don’t need to set my jawline.
.Anastasia Beverly Hills – Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette– ABH new palette, and I love it! It’s the same formula as the Modern Renaissance palette, just bit more peach and neutral. I love that I can make so many different looks with this palette with ease. The black is perfect for darkening up any looks or using eyeliner.
Like I mentioned earlier these aren’t all new products but these are all great products for the summer time! Have you tried any new products that you love or have products you constantly reach for? Let me know if I need to try them!
