I can’t be the only one that is feeling how dry the winter season can be. I’ll admit I am not the one that usually changes a skincare routine but my skin was not happy at all with how dry it had become. I’ve been using these products since Mid-November, I traveled to California and I knew the flying and travel would wreak havoc on the skin. Since I started using all of these products I got the idea to share what I’ve been using! Especially what’s been working and what I feel like has helped keep my skin in check during the dry winter months. So before I chat too much, let’s get into it!
Olay Eyes- Eye Lifting Serum – Like anyone after a certain age you get some lines around the eyes. I have been using this for about a month, I haven’t noticed a huge difference but to be honest I didn’t pay attention from when I started using it to now.
IT Cosmetics Confidence in an Eye Cream – I was using the Olay Eyes Ultimate Eye Cream but I ran out and had the IT Cosmetics on hand! I had used both before and love both! The IT has a cooling effect that I feel like it makes me look a bit more awake. My under eyes are well moisturized before applying makeup!
Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum – Vitamin C is supposed to help brighten your skin and encourage collagen health. I do love how it makes my skin feel, again I didn’t take a big notice of when I started using this until now. But, since this does contain Hyaluronic Acid, it’s definitely got a lot of good things for my skin! I
Vichy Minéral 89 Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid – I love this serum! It really is a game changer for how hydrated my face is. A little goes a very long way, I’m talking about one pump covers the face and my neck. It doesn’t make my skin feel oily at all and the moisturizer goes on nicely over it.
Olay Moisturizer Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream – I have this on my amazon subscription list, I absolutely love this. I have been using this for over a year, as my only moisturizer for day.
Vichy Anti Acne Care – This is for spot treatments. I breakout on my chin and other random spots, lol. So I apply this before the moisturizer and don’t apply moisturizer to the area.
IT Cosmetics- Confidence for the Neck – This can go on the neck , décolleté and chest. This is supposed to have a tightening effect and reduces the horizontal lines on the neck. I will be paying more attention to everything with my skincare so I’ll be able to report the difference.
Dr. Brandt- No More Baggage – I am sure that you’ve heard of this, but it is amazing. If you’ve got bags under your eyes, try this! It makes a world of difference and you only need to apply it when you’ve got bags. I really like how it helps me look more awake without even applying makeup!
I love the morning routine, it’s quick easy and I don’t have too much where I may forget a step. The Vichy Mineral Serum has brought the biggest noticeable difference, which is perfect for the dry winter.
Estee Lauder Night time Eye Cream – I first bought this while I was on my cruise in November 2018. It’s heavier than a day time eye cream, so this is perfect for adding to your night time routine. The most noticeable difference is my dark circles, they are the lightest I’ve ever seen them.
Estee Lauder Night Serum – I know that this is expensive but it lasts a LONG time. I have the 1.7 oz and it’s lasted a year, so splurging on any of the sizes will last a while. I will admit I haven’t been using this every night but when I do use it my skin feels hydrated when I wake up.
IT Cosmetics Face Cream – I don’t like using this for the day time, so I use this at night. The Olay has the SPF in it so I switched the two of them for moisturizers. If I skip the serum I’ll apply this and the eye cream before falling asleep.
Dr. Brandt -needles no more® Neck Sculpting Cream- I love that a tool comes with this neck cream, it’s really helps work in the cream while going in the right direction.
Dr. Brandt Needles no More Neck Cream – I use this neck cream at night with the little tool it comes with. It really helps the skin to want to “lift” in the right direction. A little goes a long way so this is a perfect night routine add on!
Twice a week I also use a Micro-needle to benefit from the process.I was doing it three times a week but my face wasn’t happy with it at all, it was getting irritated. I use this little Micro-needle, and the toner I use is Neutrogena toner which is what you’re supposed to do after you micro-needle. I apply the Estee Lauder night serum and than the moisturizer.
I will be paying more attention to how my skin is looking and feeling. As well as how my makeup is applying/staying on with the skincare routine. I’m excited to see what the differences are when I actually look for them.
