Ah yeah, it’s been a very long while since I’ve blogged, and I will admit part of me has missed writing, the other part kind of liked being disconnected from my laptop.
I’ve actually opened up blogger, started a great post, babbled too much, got off topic, most of all, I couldn’t just finish the post. I decided that I really needed to take a break from “trying” to write, about anything.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve most likely been keeping up with my daily movements and happenings (if not go follow me, I’m awesome… LOL). I’ve found my groove with working out finally, and I absolutely love it, I have a workout partner now also, her nickname will be #swolebiff on the blog. We hit the gym 5 a.m. Monday thru Fridays, on Sundays we meet around 8:30, our routine changes every 2 weeks and this upcoming Monday we are starting a brand new program for building muscle and HIIT workouts. I am still in training for my first ever half marathon which is happening on October 5th… oh wow that’s really soon, okay next topic.
CA and I have been busy basically every weekend, which is really great but can get some what expensive… which isn’t actually good. We’ve seen Linkin Park in concert which was completely awesome, most recently we saw my lover…. Luke Bryan in concert (shhhh don’t tell CA!), he was just amazing! We also spent time with his UConn friends, for a beer pong tournament, I didn’t completely suck… alright well I DID but it was a lot of fun. I knew mostly everyone this time around so I was definitely more comfortable with it all, and playing something I suck at is QUITE an amusing sight… trust me I AM that horrible.
CA, myself, our friends Z & A, went to the US Open, we saw Roger Federer & Maria Sharapova perform which was really awesome. We had a litttttle bit of an issue with the guys behind us… they were… drunk.
Besides seeing Luke Bryan in concert, the MOST exciting thing to occur was that CA competed in his first ever Duathon! He placed 3rd in his age group, and finished it within 1 hour 28 mins! He had an amazing time split for his first run which was a 5K, his bike which was 15.2, and the last run was 1.3 miles. He was very excited about finishing under an hour 30 mins, and was even more stocked about placing in his age group!
Today we have a wedding of our amazing friends Agata & John, It’s
going to be an amazing day, it’s beautiful here in New York and I can’t
wait to celebrate the marriage of the most amazing people.
Ahhh great job to CA!!! I would have LOVED to have seen those tennis matches! Sorry about the drunk jerks though!
